Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is the largest of the 4 not-for-profit hospitals in the Cottage Health System. Nestled between the ocean and mountains, CHS has 408 beds, making us the largest hospital system on the central coast. We are a teaching hospital, non-union and a trauma II center. With our excellent staffing ratios and shared governance model, this is a great place to work!
The main OR has an average census of 700 patients per month. A wide variety of procedures are performed with Neuro Service & Ortho Spine Service being the largest caseload. The OR supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and provides an environment of learning and professional growth for staff development. 10-hour or 8-hour shifts are available.
ANESTHESIA NURSE
The Anesthesia Nurse supports the Anesthesiologist on difficult and complex cases and is a resource for the entire surgical team. A CC background is strongly preferred. We have a great team of Anesthesiologists to work with and the chance to provide leadership to a dedicated team of Nurses and Techs that provide this service.
