BSN or MSN - One degree must be in Nursing
Licensed in New Mexico or able to obtain a license
RN or Physical Therapy license
3-5 years experience in Nursing Management, project management, education or quality improvement
3 years of supervisor or management experience
Recent teaching or administration experience in an academic nursing program
DESCRIPTION:
•Plans, directs and coordinates the operational, financial & human resource activities of the Presbyterian Academic Services program
including capital & operation budget.
•Develops department goals, objectives & establishes policies & procedures for department operation.
•Maintains/creates relationships with colleges & professional organizations, facilitates inter-organizational contracts & partnerships to advance the program.
•Develops & maintains relationships with key external partners (i.e., Board of Nursing, NM Center of Nursing Excellence, Department of Health, etc.).
•Develops requests for proposals & contracts with academic partners for implementation.
•Works collaboratively with all internal & external stakeholders & education affiliates.
•Develops & manages internal & external program advisory groups.
•Works closely with Human Resource leaders to design academic reimbursement programs for employees & creates venues for
employee input.
•Monitors all education affiliates & evaluates their ability to meet requirements.
•Performs personnel management functions including hiring, coaching, evaluating, counseling & dismissals.
•Manages projects & delegates appropriately.
